What is Microneedling?
Also known as collagen-induction therapy, Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment that is performed to treat various skin concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation or discoloration including melasma, acne scars, and large pores. Microneedling creates small micro channels in the skin, penetrating into the dermis layer, which then induces the production of collagen giving the skin a more youthful and fuller appearance.
Reduces scars caused by acne, surgery, or burns.
Fades stretch marks.
Reduces fine lines and deep wrinkles.
Evens skin pigmentation.
Tightens sagging skin.
A topical numbing agent is applied to the skin before the procedure, and you can expect the look of redness in the face for up to a few days. As the skin heals, some flaking and itchiness may occur. This procedure is extremely beneficial for you if you are looking to really smooth the tone and texture of your skin. You will need to suspend the use of active ingredients including Retinol 3-5 days before this treatment, and it is recommended to not add any of these products back into your skincare routine until the skin has healed from the procedure.
